Dynamic Sports

Dynamic Sports is an industry leader in creating curriculum that identifies the mental skills that are most effective in building soccer skills (deliberate practice) and mental toughness. Dynamic Sports combines the leading research on success and achievement with practical coaching experience to create Player’s Guides that are easy to use and incorporate into any training session plus very affordable.

The Benefit of Using the Life Skills™ Soccer Program

Research shows that skill develops most effectively through a very deliberate type of practice known as deep or deliberate practice. The Life Skills™ Soccer Program takes this research and organizes it into an easy to understand and use curriculum that players use to build technical soccer skills and mental toughness.

How Players Use the Program

Players learn about the character strengths that are necessary for acquiring skills and how each character strength relates to becoming a great soccer player. They also learn specific corresponding behaviors that lead to improving each positive character strength and rate themselves daily on how well they demonstrated each character strength that day.

 Player’s Guides

Players study one character strength at a time for one to two weeks. Each day they use a “Like Me” rating system to rate themselves on 2 – 3 specific behaviors that lead to developing the positive character strength.

Player’s Guide 1 focuses on the character strengths that are necessary for skill-building practice as well as cognitive behavioral strategies that can be used to deal effectively with distractions.
